Yes this has been a long road and is almost over. Now he's getting ready to submit to sit for is LMFT licensure.

That is awesome. I had hoped to get the LCSW, but have never done individual counseling long enough to get the supervision and credential, so I just have the LSW. I am grateful for that, though, as I had put off taking that exam twice, before taking it, thinking I was going to fail, and passed. I took the LCSW exam, but just never got the hours.

Gene did the same, took the LCSW exam and passed but had to put in the clinical hours. He kept putting it off because of all the hoops they expect you to jump through to get there.

Now he's getting his stuff together to apply for the testing for his LMFT Licensure. Prior to this he had his LSW as well.
